Do you like to drink milk? {Your Opinion}

This post is specially targeted for females of all ages. I have always loved milk since I was a kid and used to gulp it down within 10 seconds but I like cold milk and detest hot milk. In fact, I am a little uncomfortable with hot foods!!! Yes, garam (warm / hot) roti is good but garam vegetable is a no no for me. I know that some people just can't take cold or warm food. I prefer warm, of course, not cold!!

Anyway, coming back to the topic, my milk love stayed till I went to hostel at 17 where it definitely got a little hit but still I persevered with Complan. Yes, I am a Complan girl :D Then, I moved to Hyderabad and here, I had my first taste os real cow milk and that's it!! There was my milk love all obscured into a puff of smoke. Why? Because, the real milk is so damn tasty and you can't bear to drink tetrapacks or packet milk after that. In fact, I hate tetrapacks even more.

And, now, I really really stay away from milk. So, what's the problem?? Well, as you know women have less tendency to absorb calcium and they need to have good nutrition for good health to carry them through pregnancy and all hormonal changes to the menopause when women literally need calcium supplements. It is a proved fact that people who have taken good calcium intake during their childhood fare better but then, it is also advised not to stop drinking milk altogether!!!

So, I am stuck in a dilemma and though of sharing this with you :) Hope, I didn't bore you to death with all this rant which is completely unplanned and written in one breath!!!

Vedic Line+ Exfo 10 Avocado Face Scrub {Product Review}

Vedic Line+ Avocado Face Scrub at Perfect Skin Care for you
Price: Rs 175 for 100gms

Ingredients
Vedic Line+ Avocado Face Scrub at Perfect Skin Care for you
check out the oils - sesame, sweet almond, apricot, avocado oils and glycolic acid and glycerin!! and, it has papaya extract as well, wheatgerm oil which is listed just below yellow line and Portulaca extract which is supposed to have great anti-oxidant properties and fatty acids

Pros
- does give immediate brightening
- has apricot kernels or something which is not at all scratchy

Cons
- doesn't do anything for the blackheads
- may leave a creamy residue on the face after being washed off

My Experience
This product contains glycolic acid which made me very curious about the product. Its packaging or rather the color of the packaging is something I really love -  a bright pink. The product is creamy in color and consistency and has lots of small granules which are walnut shell powder.

Interestingly, the granules are not harsh at all. They feel like apricot scrub, soft and gentle on the skin. I like to help myself to a generous amount of scrub but the product will easily last for around two months if used regularly. And, results of the scrubbing is that the skin is left brighter and softer.

And, if you noticed the ingredients, it has quite some oils which is interesting!!! But, I do have an issue with the product which is that the scrub does leave a creamy residue after being washed off. I do not like my products to leave any residue on the skin. Otherwise, its a really good and gentle scrub which will suits all skin types, even oily.

Apply moisturizer on damp skin {Tip of the Day}

I have mentioned this countless of times and probably done dedicated posts for this as well but I wanted to reiterate this tip again today. So, for those of you who already know about it and have tried, apologies for saying the same things again and again.

Whenever you face a difficulty to spread any product on your skin, try applying it on damp skin. It works beautifully and gives an even finish with a dewy look. This worked especially great for the Ponds White Beauty Spot-less Cream which I had reviewed recently. I totally forgot to mention about it in the post so thought I would put up a separate one!!! Also, keep one thing in mind that do not apply any sunscreen on damp skin.

Cellnique Paramedicals Derma Whitening Daytime Protection {Product Review}

Price: 57$ (Rs 3000 around) for 30ml

Ingredients

Pros
- its a mineral sunscreen as well
- spreads easily and is not too creamy

Cons
- it leaves a lot of white cast!!!
- pretty expensive!!
- the pump didn't work for me :(

My Experience
I am always on the look out for Zinc Oxide based sunscreens. So, this one caught my eye. I liked the packaging with the pump for the squeeze tube but, unfortunately, the pump didn't work for me. I had to screw open the pump and squeeze out the sunscreen.

The sunscreen is white in color and light in texture but enough creamy but again, not too creamy. And, depending on various days, I needed extra moisturizing sometimes and sometimes not. The light texture of the product allows it to spread easily and evenly on the skin.

But, there is a huge hitch in this. Since it has both Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide (I don't know the ratios), the product leaves a lot of white cast on the skin which is very annoying. I have tried using the product on my arms as well and same issue there.

And, it is definitely expensive for 30 ml of a product which would probably last two months!!! It needs to be reapplied because its a combination of mineral and chemical sunscreen. I wish they do something regarding the white cast. Also, I didn't see any whitening or lightening of my skin tone.

PS: Product sent by brand.

Ponds White Beauty Daily Spot-less Lightening Cream SPF 20 PA++ {Product Review}

Before starting the review, I want to reiterate that I do not support fairness products. I have reviewed this solely out of my curiosity and I wanted to see how much of the hi-flying claims it supports.

Price: Rs 249 for 50gms

Ingredients
Ok, so, it has a long one and I did click it but it wasn't very clear so I am gonna skip this. And, yes, it has lots of chemicals. Btw, it has Niacinamide which is Vitamin B3 and it also has parabens in case you are interested.

Pros
- cute packaging
- evens out the skin tone

Cons
- makes me sweat a lot sometimes
- sticks to one place on my skin and refuses to spread smoothly
- doesn't fulfil any claims of fairness (it claims to make your skin fair genetically)
- can't use it as a sunscreen (this is not exactly a con)
- less on moisturizing

My Experience
So, this is my second fairness product. I remember long time back, I had tried out the Fair n Lovely sachet which used to come with magazines. I had tried it just once but I remember the texture of the cream which was a little powdery and felt dry. This Ponds one has the same texture.

I like the packaging, though. But, taking enough amount of the product is a challenge when it is a tub packaging. I really wish they come with pump packing so that one pump or two are enough for one use. Take too much and the product clumps on the skin. The cream is a little thick and creamy and doesn't spread easily at all.

In fact, blending was a huge headache for me in the starting but then, I used my regular method of applying moisturizer and it worked really well. But, even then, I have to make sure that I have just enough of the product to cover my face otherwise it does end up giving a white cast and a patchy look. And, after applying the product, you can see some of the product clumped up in the lines of your palms which is extremely annoying.

Ok, to speak good of the product, it evens out my skin beautifully and gives a very pinkish look to my face. The skin looks brightened and a little glowy. However, I did not see any fairness or any skin lightening in the long run. I don't think it works on removing the tanning but I am not really sure of that.  It is suited for skin prone to more oiliness as it gives a mattifying look.

Ok, I do not really rely on my moisturizers to give me sun protection (I do not advise it either) so the product having spf is redundant for me. However, I have seen that the glow does stay till the evening on some days. But, this moisturizer is not enough if you have dry skin. It tends to make my skin dry even in summers (my skin is combination towards dry).

But, I did sweat more with this product at times which was a shame. So, if you are looking for fairness, I would not recommend this. But, if you are looking for a product which evens out your skin temporarily, yes, you should definitely go for this.

Fun Fact: I asked my dad to use this and his face was also a little brighter and even after applying this product. But, even he faced issues while blending it :D

Craftsvilla.com - Old site with a new look!!

the keyring and the ittar
Craftsvilla has been around for a long time now but they have changed their look in between and its has been long since that too to be frank. They have amazing collection of crafts and accessories, especially earrings!!! So, don't forget to check them out.

check out the categories on the left side
The navigation is simple and similar to other websites and the checkout process is smooth. I didn't need to contact the customer service so no idea about that. Although, a point to mention is that some (or may be all) of the products are sent from manufacturers so your products may reach you at different times which is pain sometimes!!!
I love the earrings
I left the herb at home so no snap
My order included a bottle of thyme herb and a Jasmine Ittar. Thyme is amazing for hair growth. And, I got a keychain as a complimentary gift. Both of the products were so securely wrapped up in a bubble wrap that it became a pain to remove the wraps!! Seriously!! So, you can be sure that your products will reach you safely :) Oh btw, the delivery charges are applicable only on certain products so depends on what you order and only some products have COD option so that can be disappointing for some. Anyway, don't forget to check it out!!!

PS: I was given voucher for shopping from the site.

Purse from Oasap.com

So, this is my next haul from Oasap. Earlier, I had got a pair of flipflops. So, let me take you through a little background of Oasap.

Oasap is a global online store dedicated to high-street fashion by offering various kinds of women’s apparel, bags, shoes, jewellery, accessories, etc.  Oasap was founded in late 2011, however, has already had thousands of SKU by far.  We keep updating products at a high rate every day. (Source)
They have amazing range of things and they concentrate mostly on street fashion and they ship free worldwide!! Also, you get a 20% discount on your first order right after sign up. And, they have a giveaway currently running. Check it out here

Anyway, coming back to the wallet, how do you like it? Its so girly and cute but I do have some complaints so let's go through the pros and cons after the eye candy :)
it has plenty of pockets for my uncountable cards!!!
Pros
- Absolutely girly and looks damn cute!!

Cons
- It photographs much better than it looks (not exactly a con but you get carried away when doing online shopping)
- The flap which is supposed to go on the magnet closing the wallet is a little dirty which is absolutely disheartening.
- And, finally, I do think 30$ is pretty much for a wallet, especially, when parts of it are a little dirty (even if it can be washed off)!!!

PS: I did receive credits for my purchase.

Galenco, an European Baby Skin Care Brand {Product Review}

Guest Post by Paromita Datta

Every parent wants the best for their babies and I’m no different. Shopping for baby skincare products was always a cause of worry for me as it is hard to know if you are getting the right thing for your baby’s soft & sensitive skin. There are wide varieties of baby skincare products available in the market and to choose the best product among those is quite difficult. I have tried few baby skincare products of different brands on my son but have always ended up being unsatisfied. Last month on Hridaan’s first birthday, one of my close friends presented him a gift hamper consisting of diverse range of products of a renowned European baby skincare brand Galenco including shampoo, bath oil, massage oil, milk lotion, diaper rash cream and powder. Initially, I was a bit hesitant in using the products but my friend convinced me in trying them at least once. To my amazement, all the products were incredibly wonderful, effective and safe to use.

My personal favourite among all is Galenco’s baby milk lotion which is extremely gentle on my son’s skin leaving no allergies or rashes. What I also like about the lotion is that it is non greasy, unlike other lotions which make skin sticky and oily. Moreover, the pleasant fragrance of all the products is what Hridaan and I love the most. He enjoys getting his head wash done with Galenco’s baby shampoo as it doesn’t burn the eye. After such a long time, I have found a shampoo that is gentle enough to use everyday and doesn't dry out the scalp.

I love to use Galenco’s products for my son as it keeps him happy and cheerful all day long. I am deeply grateful to my friend for introducing me to Galenco that has become my first and last preference when it comes to shop for baby skincare products.

Although I have used all the products of Galenco but I would particularly like to share the details of Galenco Baby Milk Lotion and Galenco Baby Shampoo. The milk lotion is enriched with sweet almond oil and Vitamin E which nourishes the skin. It also contains glycerin which moisturises the skin thus protecting it from drying and allantoin which softens and smoothens the skin. I apply it daily on Hridaan's face, hands and body. The best thing about it is that it is non greasy, unlike other lotions which generally make the skin sticky and oily.
Galenco Baby Shampoo is mild and hypoallergenic that gently cleanses the scalp without causing a burning sensation in my baby's eyes. It is enriched with soya proteins which produce very soft and shining hair, produces volume, have an antistatic effect and facilitates in the untangling of hair. The shampoo is pleasantly perfumed which makes it Hridaan's favorite.

Following are the prices of each of the Galenco products:
  • Shampoo - Rs. 125
  • Massage Oil - Rs. 125
  • Milk Lotion - Rs. 125
  • Diaper Rash Cream - Rs. 100
  • Powder - Rs. 100
  • Bath Oil - Rs. 175

More Gossip!!

Ok, so, I am in no position to do a post today so thought I shall just post a little more of gossip :D I hope you don't get bored of it. Actually, I am returning by tomorrow morning's train. Yeah, I know, its so tiring and flights are way too easy but then the cost as well adds up so I thought I would rather spend the remainder on clothes or shoes :D Worst thing that my wait list is not yet confirmed :( I am just hoping for the best otherwise I have Rajdhani to rely on or otherwise a flight!! UPDATE: I am going by flight and there goes my plan of shopping :(

Oh btw, I got Tresmode today, yay!!! Finally, I got peep-toe sandals of my size. Oh yes, footwear is a huge headache for me as I love only flats (my balance is too bad for even a one inch heel if its not a platform)!! And, my size is 3, can you imagine??? Sometimes, I have to shop from kids section!! And, most of the times, the salesman are staring at me that I have such small feet..I am like give me a break!!! So, I have got huge huge haul to share with you guys :) And, yes, I am gonna announce the Aloe Veda winners soon as well after I get confirmation from the PR people.

Btw, for all the would-be brides, I have an advise or a product recommendation as you would like to take it. Forest Essentials Bath & Shower Oils. Yeah, they have four fragrances - Tuberose or rose (not sure), Mashobra Honey and Vanilla, Sandalwood (I guess) and one more. And, all smell divine. I got Tuberose one and Mashobra Honey both. And, whenever I smell them, I die and go to heaven :D Yes, they are expensive with around 1000 bucks for 100ml. But, an absolute luxury. So, give your body a treat for your special days :) Chalo, see ya then from Hyderabad. Au Revoir.

Ice Cubes to control Sweat {Tip of the Day}

It's so hot in Delhi and I sweat a lot so I really need something extra for keeping the sweat away. And, I remembered my ice cube tip which I used to use pretty long back. So, I decided to use it again. And, oh, it feels so good in this sultry heat. So, the tip is simple. Take an ice cube and rub it thoroughly on your face and neck till it melts away. And, let it dry or use a wash cloth to drain out the extra water and you are good to go!!! Using an ice cube ensured that I didn't sweat excessively afterwards and also, it kept my skin relatively cool.

Also, another tip is to use the ice cube before applying the makeup to make it last longer. Also, using an ice cube helps the foundation to go evenly on the skin and hide the pores as well as they get constricted. Ok, so sometime back, I also received a comment saying that applying ice cubes makes the skin dry. No, it doesn't. In fact, its just water so it hydrates the skin. Also, yes, you have to moisturize afterwards if you have a dry skin. Since my skin does get sweaty, I avoid moisturizers sometimes but its not a healthy habit. In fact, I didn't avoid moisturizer after applying the ice cube since the moisturizer does get absorbed pretty quickly due to the damp skin. Find a good moisturizer for your skin type and don't skip it ever!!

Just Herbs Cascade Moisturising Day Care Lotion Aloevera & Wheatgerm {Product Review}

Price: Rs 345 for 100ml

Ingredients
Key Ingredients -Aloevera 5% **,Wheatgerm oil 0.5%, Jojoba oil 0.2%, Apricot kernel oil 0.2 %, Vetiver extract 0.1% ,

Other Ingredients -Aqua ( Purified/Mineral water) , Sunflower seed oil**, caprylic Capric Triglycerrides ( Fractionated Coconut Oil) Glyceryl stearate citrate/cetearyl alcohol/glyceryl caprylate*, Glycerine** Shea butter** Soy Lecithin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate*, Parfum, CI 14720 (colouring agent), Octyldodecanol*,  Disodium EDTA, Herbs-Essential oil Complex( Natural Preservative) Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

** Certified Organic Ingredients
*  Natural Ingredients certified by ECOCERT
98.2% NATURAL RAW MATERIALS from renewable resources (Total amount of ingredients whose usage in cosmetic formulations follows sustainable standards)

Pros
- gets absorbed very quickly
- leaves the skin dewy and radiant

Cons
- not moisturizing for dry skin
- can make you sweat more

My Experience
the left is the Cascade Lotion
The product is very thin and gets absorbed into the skin pretty easily. And, I really like that it makes my skin look hydrated and moisturized without getting heavy. But, the main issue with this product is that it makes me sweat a lot if I am not in AC or in front of the cooler. I have used the product on my entire body and liked the way it kept my skin moisturized for 6 hours straight.

The packaging is also very handy and travel-friendly. It comes with a pump. Only two pumps are required to cover my face and neck. Ok, this is a good product for normal to oily and combi skin but not suitable for dry skin. So, even if you have a combi dry skin, its not the product for you. I did face dryness sometimes.  Overall, its a good product to try out and see if it suits you.

Also, I would like to point out that last time when I had reviewed the Silksplash face wash, I had complained about the secretive cleansing base, the PR guys from Just Herbs had reverted back immediately and furnished me with the entire ingredient list for this product. They also said that their packaging and ingredient listing policies are going to change soon in the near future. So, I am looking forward to the revelations :)

Get bouncy hair without hot tools {Reader's Tips}

This tip was submitted by Sindhu.
"My favo tip is about hair. I have naturally straight hair which makes it look flat sometimes. I don't get that instant bounce so whenever im done washing my hair, I air-dry my hair, apply little hair serum. When my hair is almost dry, I untangle it first and then flip my hair and comb it with a blow dry brush from my roots to the tips. I get an amazing bounce that I get asked if i got a haircut or blow- dried my hair. Trust me it works!!"

Essential Oils for Hair Growth {Hair Care}

Since I have started putting up posts on Essential Oils, I have received so many queries regarding essential oils amazing for skin and hair and acne. So, I decided that I shall do a post on them. This post would contain essential oils I have explored as of yet which are amazing for hair growth.

For all hair types
  • Ginger: It stimulates the hair follicles, makes the scalp feel a little warm and helps promote hair growth. It may also tingle the scalp. Ginger is mostly suitable for all hair and scalp types. It needs to be only applied on scalp. Helps with dandruff too.
  • Cinnamon: Similar to ginger in all properties, but it can be a little irritating for the sensitive scalps. It helps warm up the scalp and should only be applied on the scalp. Suited to all scalp types.
  • Rosemary: More suitable to oily scalps and hair but doesn't dry out the dry hair either so can be used for all hair types. Helps in controlling dandruff, promotes hair growth by helping in scalp stimulation and also conditions the hair and makes it look darker. Brings shine to the hair as well over long term use.
Oily Hair
  • Lavender: Suitable for oily scalp. It helps control the oil production in the scalp. Conditions the hair and promotes hair growth. Also, makes the hair shiny in long run.
  • Ylang Ylang: One of my most favorite EO's, it helps a lot with oily hair and scalp by not only promoting hair growth but also making the hair smell really awesome and controlling the oil on the scalp.
  • Cedarwood: I haven't yet used this EO so I have no idea how it works. Its supposed to control hair fall and thus, aid hair growth in reverse. Also, its great for preventing dandruff and hair lice and other fungal and bacterial infections!!
Dry Hair
  • Myrrh: Probably the only EO suitable for dry hair. It helps promote hair growth and stimulates sebum production as well. I haven't personally tried this product so I have no idea how it works.

Do you wash your face first thing in the morning? {Your Opinion}

When do you wash your face? In the shower or when you brush your teeth? I generally wash my face in the shower, howsoever late that may be. Its very rare that I wash my face first thing in the morning. But, it is supposed to be a good routine to wash your face first thing in the morning to remove all the oil accumulated at night as well as to remove the dead cells which have been accumulated when the skin repairs itself. Also, scrubbing in the morning is said to be extremely beneficial to remove the dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. So, when do you wash your face?

Facials from the fridge {Reader's Tips}

It always seems difficult to find time to make all these recipes to maintain yourself regularly. I found a shortcut to maintain my face - I usually create a base by grinding 1/2 cup oats and 1/2 cup milk powder and store it. Then depending on what I have in the fridge - I mix it in this powder base.

To tighten - mix egg whites and honey into 1 tsp powder base and apply on face, wash off after dry.
To moisturize - add avocado and almond oil into 1tsp powder base and apply - wash off after dry.
To absorb oil - mix egg whites and lemon juice into 1tsp powder base - apply, wash off after dry.
To tone and cleanse - mix yogurt and cucumber juice ( when you grate and press, juice can be extracted, no need to grind) in 1 tsp powder base and apply , rinse after dry.
If the paste is too tight I mix rose water or water to it. And the list goes on - anything you find like fresh fruits - I usually go to the ones that need no grinding or preparation. This really works - try it! As we don't find a lot of time as working moms with kids...anything easy works!!
Its an awesome tip, Padmaja. Thanks so much :)

3 Healthy Foods I love {Health}

I have been lacking bad too badly in the health posts so I thought I would compile a list of healthy foods which I absolutely love and would have in any form. And, trust me, coming up with only 5 items was so damn difficult that I can't even think of all the foods.

Broccoli, Baby Corn / American and Indian Corn
For those who don't know what it is, it is a greaan vegetable and highest in protein content and is absolutely delightful vegetable to eat whether steamed or boiled or pan-fried. It looks like green cauliflower.

And, I also love baby corns. Even the roasted bhutta and if you know that maize is dropped in Sambhar also and it tastes absolutely amazing :) And, maize is one of the foods you can have without worrying about pesticides and insecticide issues.

And, the best part is that both of them are amazingly high in fiber content and make you feel full for around 3 hours. So, one of the healthiest of snack as well. In fact, I did do a post on American Corn being a healthy snack long back.

Kabuli Chana (Chickpeas) and Kala Chana (Black Beans)
I love the huge white chanas and I love chole bhature which is not exactly healthy but you can make tikkis with kabuli chana or boil them and make a nice filling salad or snack by mixing in tomatoes and cucumber and onions and a little sprinkling of lemon!! Absolutely yum and your tummy would be so full that you won't feel hungry for hours together. And, its high in proteins and fiber (two cups provide entire day's fiber). Also, higher fiber means less junk and binging.

Black Beans are my absolute fav and always makes me wish that people would call me for 'kanjak' :D That's a tradition in which young adoloscent girls are called home early in the morning, worshipped and fed puri chana and halwa and are given gifts and the whole breakfast is just yum. Its done during ram navmi and durgashtami (the two sacred 9 days in the hindu calender). I am missing it already!! Ok, yes, puri and halwa are not exactly healthy but black beans are a must. They are rich in proteins and full of fibre (more than the chickpeas) and great for snacks, salads or even for burger fillings. Mashed black beans bound with some flour make great tikkis or cakes (I don't exactly know what tikkis are called in english but I know aloo tikki is potato cake!).

Btw, black beans are rich in phytonutrients which protects us from sun's rays, dirt, pollution, insecticides and all the bad things. So, an additional reason to gobble them up. Mixed with tomato and lemon, they make a traditional Indian snack.

Spinach
Ok, so, I don't exactly love spinach in every form, for example: boiled or steamed. But, palak paneer is my fav and I have never yet had it as a smoothie or a juice but I would definitely love to try it. Its amazing for hair growth. And, dark green veggies are great for its anti-oxidant power. According to me, the best way to eatc a spinach is raw in a sandwich and it tastes amazing. Also, another way is to incorporate it in the salad by chopping a bunch of spinach leaves. It has high amount of Vitamin A which is great for eye sight issues and also to fight aging effects. Also, it improves the body's immunity to the sun's rays.

My mini-giveaway winner!!

So, finally, I stopped being lazy and here is the winner - Monisha Thampi :) Congratulations, Monisha and your name reminds me of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai :D I hope you received my mail and in case you didn't, feel free to contact me.  Do contact me by Friday night otherwise I will have to pick another winner!!

And, here is her beauty tip (or rather "are her beauty tips"):
1. To reduce Pimples: Apply fresh ginger juice on pimples for not more than 10 minutes and wash it off. Do it for 7 days and pimples will vanish. Don't apply near eyebrows.
2. This one is a little interesting. I have a wider forehead. So I combed my hair sidewise so as to reduce its distance b/n eyebrows and head. And now I have those tiny weeny hair started growing from there and now i have a less wider forehead.
3. Fairness: Grind 3 almonds without skin like a paste and mix it with curd. Apply this mixture every night and wash it off just before going to bed. Use Besan or Gram flour instead of soap while you use this face pack. It gives an instant glow to your face and will lighten the skin if continuously done for a week.
4. Anti-Blemish: Take a thin slice of potato and rub on your face continuously. Do it for 5-10 minutes. Do it twice a day. You will see quick results.
5. Any natural treatments that are acidic in nature (eg: lemon, ginger, vinegar, orange, tomato, papaya) should be mixed with some besan, gram flour or honey to avoid over reaction.
6. Its a mail I got one day and try it out because it is amazing.Take a bunch of parsley leaves and wash it clean. Then cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and Drink one glass once a week. You will notice the difference which you never felt before. It cleanses your body like anything.
And, this is what she likes and hates about my blog:
"It is really a genuine blog. When I had the first look, I was really surprised as it had a lot of DIYs and natural beauty tips.The blog was very, very simple and had nothing which would suit for a beauty blog. Then I knew that this blog was solely concentrating on the matter it had and not on its looks. But now, the blog is far ahead of what i saw at first. I have been through most of your blog changes. But I think the new look is apt. The font is very simple. Now there are not so many natural tips like before. I would say the posts are now on advanced topics like Reviews, treatments, Perfumes :), Oils etc. I think your blog covers almost everything related to beauty.
Do give more product reviews, Your take on different myths (which is my favorite), and more on hair growth recipes, Add more polls, Answers to reader's queries. I appreciate one fact of yours that you find time to respond to all your follower's queries. You browse and search a lot and give a complete note on any subject so that I did not have to search on the same topic more. I wanted to write down point by point, but it went on like that. All the wishes for your blog, Swati."
And, boy, doesn't she have patience?? She has answered both the questions so perseveringly, thank you so much for all your kind words :) Oh btw, in case any of you thinks, I have chosen her on the basis of the length of her answers, NO. Her entry popped up in random.org and I forgot to take the screen shot so please don't accuse me of being under-handed. I do think she deserves winning. I mean look at the tips, one could say she keeps a separate diary at her home :D Oh btw, absolutely agree with the wider forehead thing, Monisha. I too have a huge forehead plus less density at the crown really made me look a little weird but I got side bangs and now, it just looks awesome.  Btw, do we get parsley in India??? Will have to search for it. [Btw, guys, don't think I am boasting about my blog by putting up what she has so kindly mentioned above, its just too flattering to not share **giggles**]

PS: Anyways, I am so happy I am leaving for Delhi tomorrow. Btw, it's my mom's birthday so do fire up suggestions for the gift. I am hopeless at selecting gifts. Budget is 10k.

I'm in love!!!

Ok, I am damn sorry for the cheesy title :D But, to be frank, I have been in love with this amazing man for a very long time. And, I can't stop smiling whenever I see him and I am gonna check him out again from today :) Ok,so, lemme break the suspense and check out the snaps. The best thing about him is that he is endlessly tall (around 6'5"). [If I ever come across him, I would feel like a dwarf!! (can always dream, right??)] And, he has this amazing smile and a very cute way of saying extremely hilarious things.

PS: For those who have no idea of him, he is Eric, aka Alexander Skarsgard, from True Blood, the best and the bloodiest vampire show in my opinion!!! And, there is another negative character I love (Klaus, aka Joseph Morgan, from Vampire Diaries).
Btw, has anyone watched Game of Thrones?? Its supposed to be amazing but I have yet to start on the series and my fav, True Blood's season five, is gonna premier today. And, don't forget to check out the ongoing giveaway.
